Camera Phones
Today more than half of the cellphones in use have an integrated digital camera. These could be compared to compact digital cameras but less features. They range from 1-megapixel to 3-megapixel resolution which is more than sufficient to display a quality picture in modern computer monitors. Many cellphones carry a small flash light for short range photography. Since sharing of images is instantaneous in Cellphones, camera phones are popular. With the competition of major cell phone manufacturers, the cameras incorporated in cellphones is evolving greatly. For instance, Samsung i850 offers a 8-megapixel camera phone with image stabilizer and red-eye reduction features. Sony Ericsson C905 offers 8.1-megapixel camera phone with image stabilizer and red-eye reduction features.
